Devun Walsh has bagged the cover of the new TransWorld SNOWboarding with a super lofty backside 180 in Valdez, Alaska.
So, how’d the shot go down? Get the full story on page 40 of this month’s issue, but here’s the nuts and bolts. During a two week trip to Alaska Dev saw the massive feature and pushed everyone to build a runway to hit it. True, the scale of the jump is huge, but the sketchy part was the curvy runway, where a slight miscalculation upon approach would send you falling to certain death down a canyon. Because of that all the other riders checked out… Devun was the only rider to hit it. After getting the cover’s BS180 third try, Devun dropped in switch to stick a cab 5. Only Devun Walsh.
