Joining DC at the beginning of 2008, Lizzy Beerman has all the makings of one of snowboarding’s next big stars. Originally from Weston, Connecticut, Lizzy made the move to Vermont to further immerse herself in snowboarding. She recently chalked up a 2nd place finish in halfpipe at the Australian Open, and was honored with an invite to compete in women’s halfpipe at Winter X Games 12.
Besides being a member of the DC team, Lizzy is on the US Snowboard Team and attends the Stratton Mountain School, two elite programs that allow Lizzy to focus on snowboarding and develop her talents. With all the tools in place, expect to see much more of this promising 18-year old.
