A few weeks ago the America’s Next Top Pro Model High Ollie contest went down at Hood, and DC’s own Lauri Heiskari took the win! Open to riders who each have pro models, riders dropped in one by one as they tried to clear the high ollie bar. The bar went up-up-up until it reached the 4 foot mark--Lauri was the only one to clear that huge height. He also won the Chinese downhill and biggest air on the halfpipe, especially notable since he's not usually a pipe rider and he beat Olympic hopefuls like Finch, Vito, and Fischer. Lauri was the clear winner... congrats!
