There may not have been much snow (they made some), but last weekend the folks at Bear Mountain in Southern California made a gentle push towards winter with Hot Dawgs and Handrails. Congrats to DC am Chas Guldemond who made it out and took 2nd place!
No real snow, but the scene was thick with bumping music, LOTS of people, and makeshift jumps being made throughout the day. Despite the contest name, the jumps and airtime the contestants were getting was the highlight of the day. Chas was flying all over the place, highlights including a switch backflip and some pretty gnarly jump-to-wallride transfers. The antics were enough to net Chas 2nd.
